River Gold

The EB Babes, along with Daiana Menezes and the Sopiz band, perform before a packed crowd in RiverGold bar in Marikina. In a blog post at EBBRepublic.net, 7libras writes:
There on the stage ... the EB Babes introduced themselves and then gave a golden performance. They were shining as they danced and their yellow outfits looked like gold. The girls were all smiles as they danced and I’m pretty sure those who were watching are smiling, either they’re smiling back or just smiling to the fact that there on the stage the EB Babes were just amazing.

Touch Me / Just Dance / Bonggang Bongga

EB Babe Lian opens the show with "Touch Me", a sizzling number with the X10 dancers. Then, in Taktak Mo O Tatakbo (TMOT), the EB Babes open with another hot number, dancing to Lady Gaga's "Just Dance". And to complete a triple treat, the girls introduce a new song for the presentation of the Taktak Letters, "Bonggang Bongga".

Bonggang Bongga

EB Babes taktak letters bonggang bongga

Yellow Vs. Pink: Pump It Up!

With four girls in yellow, four girls in pink, and Lian in both yellow and pink, the EB Babes performed a mini-showdown routine with a portable CD player to a mashup of "Pump Up The Volume/Pump Up The Jam". At the end of the number, the girls lifted the front of their white shirts over their heads and onto the back of their necks. Later on, Vic would joke about it saying, "Nag T-shirt pa kayo, gaganyanin nyo lang. 'Di nyo na lang hubarin."

What's Your Name?

EB Babes. That's their group name.

Just answering a query from Usher in his song, "What's Your Name?" to which the EB Babes danced a shakin' number in today's Taktak Mo O Tatakbo (TMOT) opener.

Insomnia

With sweet numbers like today's Taktak Mo O Tatakbo (TMOT) opener where the EB Babes danced to "Insomnia" by Craig David, it would pretty much be understandable if you'd develop something that "feels like insomnia" as you'd stay up all night re-playing them on your mind.

Meanwhile, in the letters presentation, Joey sings along with the EB Babes as they sang the "Taktak Wanbol".

2009 Predictions: Hit The Floor

Eat Bulaga lays out its "predictions and resolutions" for 2009 in its Saturday presentation, "Mga Hula para sa 2009". One of these were for Toni Rose, Allan K. and Ruby to exercise. The EB Babes, in white tank tops, black leggings and sneakers join them for an aerobics dance number. Then, donning vests, they join Julia Clarete, providing the dance as she sang Britney Spears' "Circus" and perform a magic trick. They also danced in the background when Tito, Vic and Joey finally came out and perform the "Eskimo Song" routine.

In the Taktak Mo O Tatakbo (TMOT) opener, the EB Babes entices you to "move your body" as they danced to "Hit The Floor" by Big Ali (feat. Dollarman). This song title turned out to be somewhat prophetic (and in line with the Saturday's theme) as Vic Sotto literally hits the floor when one of the contestants, a former stuntwoman, did a roll and accidentally hits Vic, sending him crashing to the floor.

Happy New Year 2009

Eat Bulaga goes live on New Year's day, and to start 2009 on a good note, they present a special production number that features Tito, Vic and Joey themselves along with the co-hosts and the EB Babes.

Accordingly, in Taktak Mo O Tatakbo (TMOT) the EB Babes present the letters "B" and "T" for Bagong Taon, along with a new letters song, sang to tune of the theme from Iskul Bukol (which is still showing in the movies).

Taktak Wanbol

Kung feeling swerte ka ngayong bagong taon
Bago rin pati itaktak mo ngayon
Ang mga letra na dapat mong tandaan
Eto na nga
At pakinggan
Letter __ ahhhhh haaa... yeah, choose mo na
Letter __ ahhhhh haaa... yeah, gets mo ba?
Bagong taon taktak mo na
At letters mo piliin na
Ilabas mo kung masaya
Ang jackpot mo uwi mo na
Itaktak mo na masaya!

Wanbol!
