Steph's Electrifying Charm

At the start of the jackpot round of Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP), Joey asks why the EB Babes appear to be sad. Dressed in lime green and matching Santa hats, the girls give out cute pouting faces, playing along, as the camera pans through them. Anjo kids that it was because it was the last day of paying the electric bills.

And as the girls present the bonus prizes, and while the contestant ponders on who to select, Joey tells him, "Ang gagandang mga Santa Clause nyan." The contestant eventually selected Steph, which amazes Joey as Steph gets picked very frequently. "Napakalakas sa pili nito, ano," he says and and as he touched Steph's elbow he gets a static shock. "Ay... ang lakas ng kuryente mo ah," he said.

"Bakit sa palagay mo ay ikaw ay isa sa pinakamadalas mapili ng mga contestants?" Joey asked Steph. She says "appeal", but joey wanted a more specific answer. Steph said it's probably her smile.

Relations Jokes

With Eat Bulaga hyping a special "add-on" to today's Ba Ba Boom (a bonus prize for correctly guessing who among the Ba Ba Boom girls are sisters), Joey pipes in a joke that two of the EB Babes are mother and daughter. He and Anjo then proceeds to identify Maricorn and Molly. Joey also adds a worse joke regarding the Sexbomb girls ("sino ang mag-ama?").

Saida gets selected as the bonus prize girl by the contestant, and Joey notices a mark on her shoulder which she says is a bakuna.

Bulletproof

Dressed in sparkling red long-sleeved tops and shorts, the EB Babes open Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) with a vibrant number to La Roux's "Bulletproof" ending with a sweet action-star pose.

In the jackpot round, Ria gets selected as the bonus prize girl for the second straight day.

Other parts of the show include the Pinakamadaling Gameshow with Molly as the bunot girl and also Puregold's Pachinko game.

First Lady Material

Joey and Anjo were discussing politics during the jackpot round of Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP), so when it was time for the EB Babes to present the bonus prizes, Joey comments, "Etong mga babaeng ito, ito'y mga hinihiling ng mga kumakandito ngayon na maging first lady nila ... lahat yan, first lady material yan." and later adds, "kung ganyan ang mga first lady natin, masaya!"

So they then let the contestant pick his "first lady" and he chose Ria. And when Joey introduced Ria to him, the audience shouts, "Kiss! Kiss!" Joey then said, to prove he was indeed a man, he should give Ria a kiss. He did so, giving Ria a peck on the cheek.

But then, someone from the staff informs them that his girlfriend was there in the audience, and the audience started chanting "Lagot ka! Lagot ka!"

As Sweet As Candy Cane

Eat Bulaga stages a Christmas Toys production number with the hosts dressed up in various costumes representing toys. The EB Babes were dressed in the red and white stripes of candy canes and provided backup to the female hosts.

In Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP), Steph gets selected again and Anjo comments, "isa sa mga paborito yan." Anjo and Joey then played a guessing game, trying to guess where the "12 Months" top prize would be and agreed on a "punishment", a kiss from Maricorn. Anjo then selected Ria (4 Months), and Joey selected Ann (7 Months).

Scent of an Angel

The EB Babes are back! After missing their Tuesday and Wednesday schedule in Eat Bulaga for special out-of-town commitments, they are back on Thursday wearing sparkling red.

In Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP), Molly and Ria danced a bit of swing with two male dancers as they provided background to a singing contestant. Then in the jackpot round, Joey expressed surprise as he saw the girls back. "Aba, dumating na sila!" he exclaims and pretends no knowledge of where they've been. "Malalaman natin sa amoy," he says.

Angel got picked by the contestant and Joey smells her hair. "Galing sa hilot," he jokes.

Sinong Iiwan Mo?

"Ito ang ina-aabangan namin na portion dito eh," Joey says just before he calls the EB Babes to bring out the numbers. Clearly, it's the part of the show where he and Anjo have a lot of fun.

"Magaganda ba lahat?" Anjo asked the contestant, to which the contestant replied, "Opo!"

"Wala bang itatapon?" Anjo follows up. "Wala po!"

Joey then poses a version of an age-old hypothetical question: that if you were on a boat with the seven EB Babes, but need to leave one, who would it be?

Anjo whispers to the contestant, trying to let him say "Number 5" which was Maricorn, as she was Anjo's current favorite to tease. But the contestant gave him away saying, "Number 5 daw po, sabi ni kuya Anjo."

Joey forces him give an answer for himself so he just went along with Maricorn. Then Joey posed the question to Anjo, "kung ikaw, pare?"

"Ako, iiwan ko siguro yung number seven," Anjo said, pertaining to Steph, but quickly added, "tapos magpapa-iwan na rin ako."

"Sinasabi ko na nga ba eh," Joey says, and when Anjo posed the question back to him, he selected Belle and said he'd do the same as Anjo.

But when the actual bonus prize selection came, the contestant went on and chose Maricorn.

Ba Ba Boom is scheduled for today, so there was no opening number for this portion.

Love Story

With no Ba Ba Boom scheduled for Wednesdays, the Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) opening number returns. Dressed in pretty pink dresses which would later make Joey describe them as ballerinas on music boxes, the EB Babes deliver a sweet, beautiful number dancing to a dance version of Taylor Swift's "Love Story".

Then in the contest proper, Joyce, Saida, Belle and Steph provided backup support to one contestant who was doing a breakdance number.

In the jackpot round, the winning contestant selects Steph, and as she approaches them, Joey says, "Ah... favorite yan ah," remembering that Steph was the frequent choice in the past week.

Anjo asked the contestant why he picked Steph and he explained that Steph was the first one he saw, when she was coming in, climbing the stairs. That proved to be his luck as Steph did hold the "X3" prize.

An Unfortunate Decision

With the new game Ba Ba Boom taking up a lot of time in the previous days, Eat Bulaga decides to skip the opening number in Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) just like they did in TMOT before. An unfortunate and poor decision if you ask me, since this was an efficient one minute part of the show: it starts as soon as the sponsors' graphics end and after less than a minute of dance, it seamlessly transitions to the hosts. There are a lot of less efficient parts of the show that they should have streamlined instead, in my opinion.

But that's their call to make, so on with the show.

In the jackpot round Saida got selected and as she approached Anjo and Joey, Joey says, "Ang pinakamaraming naging boyfriend," and tries to guess, "ahmm... lima?"

"Mga lima palang," Saida said laughing.

An Early Christmas Celebration

Eat Bulaga starts the Christmas season early with a Christmas-themed Saturday episode. In line with this, the EB Babes dress in red sexy santa outfits and open the weekly finals of Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) with a vibrant number dancing to The Noisettes' "Don't Upset The Rhythm".

In the jackpot round, the young girl who was the winning contestant picked Joyce's number, and as Joyce comes to join them, Anjo says to her, "Condolence nga pala."

"Bakit?" Joyce and Joey wondered, and Anjo explained, "namatay ang aso nya." Joyce coyly smiles and Joey "comforts" her with an embrace. "Pakikilala ka namin sa aso ni Jimmy. [Si] Duchess," he joked.

Joey then asked her if she has any idea on how many months she was holding. "Pakiramdaman mo," Anjo says and Joyce played along rubbing her tummy. Joey then offered 25 centavos for her to guess the box contents. "7 months," she guessed.

When they opened the box, it turns out she was holding the top prize of "12 months" and the young girl says, "ang swerte ko," as she also got the top prize of "X3" during the daily contest.

Also in the show, PLDT MyDSL launches its 25 days of Christmas giveaways promo and to kick it off, Daiana Menezes and the EB Babes performed a short number dancing to Madonna's "Celebration".

Volare!

"She makes me happy," Justin Bieber sings in his song, "One Time", to which the EB Babes danced to in opening Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP). And true enough, the EB Babes make me happy whenever I see them perform.

In the contest proper, Ria gives an enchanting Spanish dance that would make you "fly" to backup a contestant singing the Flameco Rumba version of "Volare". And so captivating was she that the judges seemed to be focused on her instead of the contestant.

"Magaling, magaling, magaling .... ang backup dancer mo," says one phone caller judge, while another says, "... dahil nagustuhan ko ang kanyang pagsasayaw..."

And in the jackpot round, Steph got picked for the third straight day, which amazes Joey. "Abaa... bakit paborito ito ... thrice a week," he says.

The Debutants

Looking real fresh and pretty and ready to party in a 60's style retro look, the EB Babes open Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) with a sweet and fun number, dancing to Pixie Lott's "Boys & Girls". This look would later prompt Joey to call them debutants.

Meanwhile, in the KSP contest proper, Ann and Molly don their purple cheerdance/gymnastic outfits and bring out balls as a lead-in to a contestant's rhythmic gymnastics exhibition.

Come jackpot round, as the girls were presenting the bonus boxes, Joey calls them "Debutants" and even went as far as saying, "mukha ngang mga kinse lang eh."

The hosts also kids them about boyfriends and suitors and hosts. And when Steph comes down the stage when she got picked, Joey and Anjo quizzes her, asking her if she has a boyfriend. When she says no, they asked when was the last time she had one and why did they break up. She didn't want to say it out loud but Joey pressed her to say the reason, she said laughing, "Bakla po!"

Joey then went on giving advice about how to determine if a guy is a closet gay.

Ganda Pati Talino

In fiery red outfits, the EB Babes open Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) with one super-hot number dancing to "Superhuman" by Chris Brown. "Yeah! Galing-galing!" Pia says after the number, almost squealing.

Then, with one contestant singing Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You", Molly partners with a male dancer to provide a sweet interpretative dance number in the background.

In the jackpot round, Joey and Anjo kids the EB Babes about the arrival of the Ba Ba Boom Girls, who will be debuts later in the show with the new game "Ba Ba Boom". 

Joey asked Steph, whose number was picked the contestant, if they already met the new girls. She says no, and Joey advises "Walang awayan ha" while Anjo asked if they were feeling a bit insecure. She says, "meron naman po kasi kaming different qualities."

Joey then asked a "Beauty Pageant Question": What are the EB Babes' advantage over the other girl groups in the show. Steph answers, "Walang tulak-kabigin sa aming sampu." But when pressed for a more specific answer she says, "Ganda pati talino."

Shooting Star

I love just who you are,
I ain't gon' try to change ya.
You are a shooting star,
That's why you are my favorite

So goes the verse from the song "Shooting Star" which it repeats over and over. And how fittingly it describes what we feel for the EB Babes, and as the tagline of this blog states, they are like shooting stars.

Dancing to this song, and wearing the red-and-blue color scheme of Pop Cola, the EB Babes open the grand (and final) game of Pinoy Henyo Pop Cola edition.

But before Pinoy Henyo, there also was the Weekly Finals of Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) which the EB Babes open with "S.O.S." by Jordin Sparks. Of the five finalists, two of them inlclude participation of EB Babes in their act. In one, Molly, in a beautiful pure white dress, perform an interpretative number with a male partner while the contestant sang "Luha" by Aegis. And in another act, the EB Babes play the role of adoring admirers of the contestant who sang Aerosmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing".

In the jackpot round, Anjo calls the EB Babes "Russians", and he says that that's because their red-and-blue outfits somehow reminds him of the Russian flag. The contestant selects No. 4 which Joyce was holding, and Anjo says, "Si Joyce ito ... from Moscow."

But before revealing the box contents, Joey said he wanted to take a peek first. So, with Joyce shielding the box from the cameras and the contestant, Joey takes a look. After a couple of seconds, Anjo joked, "Pare, parang ang tagal naman ng pintahan dyan," and Joey acts as if he and Joyce were kissing.

They then opened the box to reveal a good prize of "9 Months".

Cleopat-Ria

Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) starts today with a scorching sexy number by the EB Babes dancing to Mariah Carey's "Obsessed". They also bring in colored flags in one contestant's act, a baton twirler.

Then in the jackpot round, Anjo and Joey continued with yesterday's "Big Night" theme and wants a sexy dance while the winning contestant sang. And since the contestant used to work in Egypt, Joey says some of the EB Babes looked like Egyptians.

The contestant selected Ria for her jackpot prize, because she says she looks like an Egyptian. Anjo asked if Cleopatra is from Egypt and Joey says, "Reyna ng Ehipto", and they call Ria as Cleopatra. Joey then says Cleopatra dances well, especially if the song is from Aegis, so they asked the contestant to sing her song again while Ria danced.

And as Ria danced, Joey shouts again, "Raid! Raid!" Anjo runs again, taking the singing contestant with him. "Oh bakit yan ang dinala mo?" Joey asked laughing.

"Sorry, sorry," Anjo says and runs out again, this time taking Ria with him.

Joey then calls them back and Anjo and Ria comes back with their heads and faces covered in a red sheet. "Talagang raid na raid ang dating, may mga takip," Joey said laughing.

After KSP, Steph and Ann joins the EB Dabarkads Pinoy Henyo lineup. Both of them were called in, and both of them got the slime. And as the orange goo was falling onto Steph, Joey says, "kamukha pa ni Rosalinda, oh" referring to Carla Abellana who plays Rosalinda in GMA's primetime drama. Though she's been in the chamber before, this was Steph's first time to get the slime.

Big Night

"Joey! Joey! Joey!" The audience chanted when Joey De Leon started a sultry dance as the Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) winner, called The Human Saxophone, hums a sexy tune.

"Mamaya, mamaya," he quiets the crowd down and then declares, "Big Night po ngayon sa Eat Bulaga."

This was in the jackpot round, but the fun all started right from the KSP opener. The EB Babes, dressed in bright blue and gold, open the segment with a lively number dancing to Sean Paul's "Press It Up".

Following that, was a Tahitian number by one of the contestants. EB Babes Belle and Ria and a couple of Boom Boom Pow Boys dressed up as islanders and served as the background for the contestant's act.

Rex Galvez, a previous winner of KKB/KSP, then came out playing a saxophone to lead on to the next contestant, The Human Saxophone, who plays out sax music just by humming. EB Babes Molly and Ann then enters the scene to provide backup dancing as he hums out classic jazzy tunes. Toni Rose Gayda, who was one of the judges, quipped, "Kung may sax (socks) may jazz (medyas)."

The Human Saxophone was eventually declared the winner which brings him to the jackpot round. This is now where Joey did his sexy dance and declared the "Big Night". He also joked with their floor director, Motty, and asked her who among the EB Babes is her type. As the crowd howls and cheers on Motty to give an answer, Ann and Saida point to Molly, and pushes her on to the front.

After the contestant's hakot, Joey asked him to hum another sexy tune, suggesting "Summertime", while the EB Babes would perform a sexy dance to it. After that, Anjo suggests that instead of simply selecting a number, the contestant should go and fetch the EB Babe holding the numbered box he'd want for his jackpot prize.

Anjo and Joey did the humming this time, playing "Careless Whisper", as the contestant went up the stage, fetched Ann, takes her back to the main stage and danced with her.

Anjo interrupts him and said, "Sandali lang, ang usapan natin susunduin lang eh. Sinayawan eh!" Joey adds, "Hinarap mo pa!"

"Tignan nga natin ulit si Hopia," Joey says and tells the contestant to just play and not dance. He let Anjo dance with Ann and as they did, he shouts, "Raid! May raid! May mga Pulis! Takbo!"

Anjo runs, dragging Ann with him, to a secluded corner of the stage. Ann falls down, and when they return up front, Anjo pretended they were making out. "May lipstick ba?" he asked wiping his face.

After they revealed the jackpot bonus, Joey also calls down Maricorn, who was holding the "X3" prize. And as they were heading towards the commercial break, Joey shouts, "Tara, let's party!" and told the contestant to play again while they all danced. "Hala! May pulis nanaman, raid!" He shouts again and runs to the exit. Anjo runs, too, this time dragging Maricorn.

As Sexy As Saida

The Beatles has a song entitled "Sexy Sadie" but Eat Bulaga has its very own "Sexy Saida". And even the contestants know it, that's why the Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) winner unhesitatingly selected Saida and made up her own exaggerated vital statistics when Joey asked her who among the girls was her body-type before she had kids. She also went with Saida for her jackpot bonus.

But before all that, to open KSP, the EB Babes performed a shortened version of the "Get Sexy" (by the Sugababes) number they did in SOP a couple of Sundays back. The vibrant number impressed Allan K. and Pia, who said, "Nakakabilib na talaga ang EB Babes ngayon!"

Also, in one of the acts, Joyce and Ann lent a hand to one of the contestants, providing backup dancing as she performed "Baile".

Fire Burning and A Senior's Nobody

The EB Babes were like pink fire as they scorched the dancefloor in their pink outfits with a spirited Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) opener, dancing to Sean Kingston's "Fire Burning".

Then Maricorn plays a damsel-in-distress role in one of the contestants' act, a nunchaku exhibition with a short skit, where the contestant fights off hoodlums.

The winning contestant, however, was a 70 year old lady who danced to The Wonder Girls' "Nobody", which leads Pia to say that KSP means "Kahit Seniors Pwede". Come jackpot round, the winner chooses Ann's number, and Joey quickly gets an idea to have a mini-showdown between Ann and the contestant. They did so, with the two of them dancing to "Nobody" to the delight of everyone.

And with the help of Ryan Agoncillo, Jimmy Santos and the X3 box Ann was holding, the contestant also ended up having a record-breaking jackpot prize.

Ann then joins the Pinoy Henyo lineup, but her name was never picked, so she goes slime-free this time around.

Salaginto

Striking in their sparkling red outfits, the EB Babes open Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) with an enticing number to the song "Release Me" by Agnes Carlsson.

And so sparkling were they that Joey would just rather watch them all day when he saw them present the boxes in the jackpot round. "Okey ... sige ganyan na lang tayo maghapon," he says, then added, "parang mga salaginto oh ...  Maganda, maganda."

The contestant chose Steph when asked who he likes the most among the EB Babes, and it was also Steph's number he chose for his bonus prize. Joey and Anjo says about Steph: "Ito yung ini-imbestigahan pa natin. Hindi natin alam kung totoo ang mga rumor." And when Joey asked Steph to turn around he says, "Oh yan si Steph. Likod pa lang eh..."

And when it was revealed that Steph had the lowest prize, they asked the other girls what they were holding. It turns out Joyce had the "X3" bonus. "Ayun oh yung maputi," Joey says pointing to Joyce, "popular yan. Top-seller namin yan."

Therapy

Watching the EB Babes perform their regular one-minute opening numbers is, in a way, like therapy, as it always makes you feel good be it an exciting high-energy number, a sensual sexy number or be it a soothing and calming beautiful and graceful number just as it was in today's Kahit Sino Pwede (KSP) opener with India.Arie's "Therapy".

So fresh-looking and elegant they were today that Joey could just look at Belle and say, "Ang ganda oh, ang ganda ni Belle," when the contestant chose her for his bonus prize. Joey calls Belle a "best-seller" and Anjo adds that there were two "best-sellers", Belle and Saida, who actually was chosen by the contestant when Anjo proposed the question, "kung gusto mong magka-anak, sino gusto mong maging ina [sa EB Babes]?"

Belle then joins the dabarkads in the Pinoy Henyo lineup, and her name was picked again. Fortunately for her, the contestants were able to guess the word and thus, she avoids the slime this time.

Also, in all segments today, we could see the girls dancing to the "Ba Ba Boom" song among the audience. This might be a preparation to hype an upcoming "Ba Ba Boom" segment.
