Goodbye Mae & Madel

As the EB Babes' third year drew to a close today, we receive confirmation that Mae has opted out of signing a contract renewal, and Madel has reportedly not signed either. Wether they plan to stay visible in showbiz or return to a more private life is still uncertain, but what is for sure, is that whatever they choose to do, whatever endeavors they wish to undertake, they will have our continued support, and we will forever be grateful for the three-plus years of their life that they shared with us.

It's kind of heartbreaking to see them go, especially having them practically grow up in front of our eyes: Mae from that cute little "grade six" girl to the creative "Mae-trix" that beats up Ha and Ho and to the hot, beautiful and talented young lady that we see today; and Madel from the clumsy "gymnastic girl from Cebu" to the showtime girl that gave us the 360 degree jump split and makes everyone go "Ooh-La-la!"

But this is how it goes, everyone has their own lives to live after all, and Mae and Madel both decided to take a new direction in theirs. They will surely be terribly missed, but to their many fans out there, they will always be EB Babes.
